Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect almost nothing, and we sell none of it.
What we collect
Two things. If you subscribe to updates, we store the email address you gave us — that is the entire customer record. And like nearly every website, we run basic analytics: aggregate page views, approximate region, browser type, and which pages get read. We look at this to learn which audits people find useful. It is not tied to a profile of you, and we have no interest in building one.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not run third-party advertising networks. We do not buy data about you from elsewhere to enrich the little we hold. The business model is simpler and printed on the receipt: some outbound links pay a referral commission — itemized in our affiliate disclosure — and none of that involves handing anyone your information.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: whatever our analytics needs to count a visit as one visit, and functional cookies that keep the site working. When you follow a referral link to a platform, that platform may set its own cookies under its own policy — from that click onward you are in their ledger, not ours.
Subscription emails arrive only if you asked for them, and every one carries an unsubscribe link that works on the first click. Unsubscribing removes you from the send list; we do not keep shadow copies.
Data requests
Want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted? Email [email protected]. The honest preview: for most readers the answer is either nothing or one email address, and deletion is a short job we will confirm when it is done.
